Posted Monday, January 25th, 2010

Broaden your leadership skills and get connected to the region’s amazing cultural community by working directly with a nonprofit arts or cultural organization on a project specifically matched with your skills.

The Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia is recruiting for volunteers with management experience and expertise in areas such as strategic planning, financial management, marketing, public relations human resources and more.

The Arts & Business Council chooses about 20-30 business professionals to serve as BVA volunteer consultants each session. BVA consultants typically have:

· Expertise in one or more of the following fields: marketing, public relations, strategic planning, business planning, accounting/finance, organizational development, human resources or event planning
· An interest in the arts
· A willingness to commit 5 to 10 hours a month during a project

Enroll now in the March 6, 2010 Business Volunteer for the Arts training session. Applications must be filled out in advance. To apply, visit our website at http://www.artsandbusinessphila.org/bva/becomebva.asp
