YPN Volunteers at Chew Playground
Wednesday, May 12th, 2010YPN volunteers were at Chew Playground in South Philadelphia this past Saturday for Greater Philadelphia Cares LOVE your Park Day. They joined other groups, from Drexel University and the community, to beautify the park. Chew Playground includes a recreation center, which provides sports programs for children K-12 as well day camps.

The Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia needs 5,000 volunteers to help package one million meals for the people of Haiti.

You! Individuals (11 years of age and older), families, and corporate, school, religious and community groups are encouraged to volunteer for at least one two-hour shift. Each packing station consists of 12-14 volunteers.
