About Young Professionals Network
The Young Professionals Network (YPN) of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce offers social networking, professional development, and volunteer opportunities to ambitious young professionals.
As the premier organization of its kind in the region, membership in YPN will help you improve your career, develop your leadership abilities, build your network, and give back to the Greater Philadelphia community!
Our members don’t just come to YPN events to trade business cards and walk away. This is a place where young professionals meet to build lasting friendships, share big ideas and invest in the future of Greater Philadelphia.
Networking Events
At monthly events hosted in some of Greater Philadelphia’s premier hot spots, business leaders, public officials and industry experts provide insight into regional issues and share tips on career advancement. You’ll have an opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and share common interests with your peers in a fun environment.
Professional Development
Now is the time to invest in yourself and your career. Building on the success of previous professional development seminars, YPN hosts several skills-building workshops that cover topics like strategic networking and the importance of having a mentor.
The Young Professionals Network is a member of the Pennsylvania Young Professionals (PAYP). PAYP is a statewide organization established to create a network of young professionals throughout Pennsylvania. For more information on PAYP and its annual ImPAct conference, click here.
Volunteer
As a young professional, getting involved is important. That’s why we provide opportunities for our members to take on leadership roles within the organization and volunteer in the community. You’ll have fun, meet people who share your interests and concerns, and make a real difference in the lives of others.
Volunteer outreach is a big part of our mission, because we know that through enriching our communities we are investing in the future of Greater Philadelphia. YPN provides several volunteer opportunities and has a special partnership with McClure Elementary School in North Philadelphia to lend support to faculty and students. Help out with our annual toy and book drive, participate in a career day for third and fourth graders, or paint the halls as part of a community-wide day of service.
