YPN Volunteers at McClure Elementary Spring Fling

On Friday, June 11, 2010, volunteers from YPN celebrated with McClure Elementary School students at the fourth annual Spring Fling to recognize students with perfect attendance this school year. Students enjoyed different activity stations including dancing, balloon toss, sponge races, relay races, the human knot, chalk drawings, and face painting.

YPN Volunteers at Chew Playground

YPN volunteers were at Chew Playground in South Philadelphia this past Saturday for Greater Philadelphia Cares LOVE your Park Day. They joined other groups, from Drexel University and the community, to beautify the park. Chew Playground includes a recreation center, which provides sports programs for children K-12 as well day camps.
